The truest way to really understand a school's quality is to see a student's daily routine. At Altıneller Schools, a day spent across different grade levels, from preschool to high school, flows with a balanced rhythm between academic classes, social activities, nutrition, and rest.
08:00: Morning Welcome and Breakfast
After passing through the security gate, students are welcomed by their homeroom teachers and the teachers on duty. Breakfast times vary by grade level:
- Preschool / Primary School: 08:10 – 09:00
- Middle School: 08:00 – 08:30
- High School: 08:00 – 08:40
All meals are eaten on campus, prepared by Adana Koza Yemekçilik, alongside the homeroom teacher.
09:00: First Class and Academic Block
8 daily class hours are taught in 40-45 minute blocks. There's a 10-minute break between each class, during which students go out to the garden or social areas. In the high school schedule, the 5th class has been moved to before lunch, leaving a shorter afternoon class block.
12:20: Lunch
The meal menu is prepared by Food Engineer Uygar Akgül; protein, fat, energy, and kcal values are shared with parents in advance. Preschool and primary school students eat together with their homeroom teacher; middle and high school students eat in groups in the cafeteria.
13:00: Afternoon and Social Clubs
Alongside academic classes, clubs run 2-3 days a week: robotics coding, Cambridge English prep, chess, visual arts, drama, music, basketball. Clubs are subject to mandatory rotation through grade 11, so that every student is introduced to at least 4-5 different disciplines during their time at school.
14:45: Afternoon Snack
In preschool and primary school, the afternoon snack is served between 14:45 and 15:25. This is a structured break period for children to recharge before the 8th class.
15:35: Last Class and Study Hall
The day's 8th class ends at 16:15. Students who need it complete their homework in study halls alongside subject teachers until 17:00; at the high school level, evening YKS study hall for grade 12 students extends until 18:30.
16:30: Transportation and Return Home
Transportation service is run by contracted, regularly inspected companies. Route details are shared with parents after enrollment. Before boarding the bus, every student checks out with their homeroom teacher.
